OSCAR WINNERS IN ZAGREB
The Sound Designer workshop was held in "Kino Mosor" - Zagreb, from the 12th to the 14th of June 2009. More than 50 satisfied visitors learned from reputable guest lecturers: Mr. Kirk Francis - award winner (Oscar - "The Bourne Ultimatum"), (BAFTA award - "The Bourne Ultimatum" & "L.A. Confidential") & his assisstant Mr. Benjamin Dunker.
We have to point out the fact that our respected guest accepted to held the workshop free of charge. The sound specialists gathered at the workshop have learned about multiple sound approaches to different movies. They learned how to work with different directors and have received priceless instructions from Mr. Francis' personal experience. Mr. Francis, the sound master, has mixed production sound for over 60 movies worldwide and here, in Zagreb, he was enthusiastically answering all questions and making conversation with every visitor.
